Graduation Information
Class of 2026 — Graduation Schedule
Tuesday, May 19 — Graduation Practice (Mandatory)
- Graduates arrive at MMS by 5:30 p.m.
- The Class of 2026 picture will be taken at 6:00 p.m. — bring your cap and gown for the photo.
- Students are strongly encouraged to bring their graduation shoes to practice.
Attendance at both practices is required.
Wednesday, May 20 — Graduation Practice (Mandatory)
- Graduates arrive at MMS by 5:30 p.m.
- Last names A–L report to the MMS Auditorium
- Last names M–Z report to the MMS Big Blue Gym
- Graduation tickets are distributed at the end of practice. To receive your tickets, you must complete the Graduation Survey, return all books and Chromebooks, and pay any outstanding fines.
Attendance at both practices is required.
Thursday, May 21 — Graduation Ceremony | 7:30 p.m. | Northcutt Stadium
- Graduates arrive at MMS by 6:00 p.m.
- Last names A–L report to the MMS Auditorium
- Last names M–Z report to the MMS Big Blue Gym

Rain Date #1 — Friday, May 22 · 7:30 p.m.
Graduation Ceremony at Northcutt Stadium. Graduates arrive at MMS by 6:00 p.m.
Rain Date #2 — Saturday, May 23 · 9:00 a.m.
Graduation Ceremony at Northcutt Stadium. Graduates arrive at MMS by 7:30 a.m.
Rain or Shine Date #3 — Saturday, May 23 · 12:00 p.m.
Graduation Ceremony at Northcutt Stadium. Graduates arrive at MMS by 10:30 a.m.
Graduation Parking
Where can graduates park?
Graduates are required to park at First United Methodist Church of Marietta (56 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064), or they may be dropped off on site. There is no student parking at Marietta Middle School.
Where can guests park?
Parking for guests is available at Marietta Middle School in the parking lot at the intersection of Walthall St. and Maple Ave. Additional guest parking is available at West Side Elementary School (344 Polk St NW, Marietta, GA 30064).
Need assistance?
The parking lot located between Marietta Middle School and Northcutt Stadium will be reserved for handicap parking and guests who may need additional assistance.
Golf carts will be available to assist families traveling to and from nearby parking areas.
The MCS Clear Bag Procedure will be in effect for the 2026 Graduation Ceremony.
