This list includes bachelor's degree-granting institutions that do not require recent U.S. high school graduates applying to start classes in fall 2022 to submit ACT/SAT results. As the endnotes indicate, some schools exempt students who meet minimum grade-point average or class rank criteria; others require SAT or ACT scores but use them only for placement purposes. Please check with the school's admissions office for details.

Parent/Guardian Counseling Chats

Counselor Chats were developed to provide parents/guardians with an opportunity to meet informally with the College Advising team and discuss the college readiness process.

The goal is for parents/guardians to be connected throughout the process and get an opportunity to learn about policies and protocols, trends, and upcoming events/deadlines.

We hope you can share experiences as you get your scholar to the finish line and/or the starting gate for college.

Counselor chats occur via Zoom on the second Tuesday of every month.

Scoir

Marietta High School utilizes Scoir as its primary college exploration tool and to manage the college application process for our students and their families.

Every MHS student and their parent/guardian already has a Scoir account. If you are an MHS student or parent/guardian and you are not sure how to access your account, please reach out to the College Advising team!

If you have an account, access Scoir HERE.

Scoir can be utilized for any of the following tasks:

Signing up for college rep visits
Researching college options
Requesting transcripts/letters of recommendation for college applications
Signing up for college advisement meetings, and more!
