Meet the Principal
Dr. Marvin J. Crumbs is a veteran educator who has spent his entire career in the field of education. Born and raised in Cuthbert, Georgia, he attended Randolph-Clay High School before earning his bachelor of science in health sciences and master of education in middle grades education from Columbus State University. Dr. Crumbs later earned his specialist degree in elementary education from Troy University and his doctorate in education administration from Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida.
Dr. Crumbs has held various administrative roles in middle and high schools, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his work. He is a member of the Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals Board of Directors, PAGE, Columbus State University Alumni Board of Directors, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He values his involvement in these professional and social organizations and the connections he has made through them.
Outside of work, Dr. Crumbs is a proud husband to Kimberly Crumbs and father to two accomplished children. His daughter, Tre’Cherie, attended the University of Georgia and the Morehouse School of Medicine and now works as a doctor at Emory Hospital in Atlanta. His son, Marvin Crumbs, Jr., recently graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in computer science/computational media and works for the Travelers Insurance Company. In his free time, Dr. Crumbs enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
