BREADCRUMB

Early Childhood Care and Education

This pathway prepares students for careers working with young children, from infancy through early elementary grades. Students build foundational knowledge in child development, health and safety practices, and the creation of safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments. Through hands-on learning and practical application, students develop professionalism and gain experience that supports certification opportunities, employment, or continued education in teaching and childcare.

Course Descriptions

*Dual Enrollment: This pathway is dual-enrolled through Chattahoochee Technical College beginning in the second course. Students will complete ECCE 1101, 1103, and 1105 to earn the EC31 Early Childhood Basics Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) upon completion of the pathway.
