Culinary Arts
Students learn essential cooking techniques, food safety and sanitation, knife skills, and equipment use as they prepare a variety of recipes. As they progress, they explore baking, sauces, global cuisines, and catering, as well as the business and teamwork skills needed for food-service careers. Catering events, school-based enterprises, and creative projects allow students to showcase their talent. Completing the pathway prepares students for entry-level food-service jobs or continued study in culinary arts and hospitality.
