Turnitin Plagarism Checker
Turnitin is an online originality checking and plagiarism prevention program that checks your writing for citation mistakes or inappropriate copying. It is used to teach students how to correct their citation mistakes. When you submit your paper, Turnitin compares it to text in its massive database of student work, websites, books, articles, etc.
Setting up Turnitin Teacher Account and Classrooms:
Teachers can use Turnitin either in Schoology as an Assignment or on the Turnitin Site.

Teachers Assignments on the Turnitin Website:
Teachers received a Turnitin account by request from LGary-Michel@marietta-city.k12.ga.us. The account will be created for you and an email will be sent to your school email with instructions for setting up your account.
Once an account is established, teachers and students can visit the Turnitin Support Page for helpful instructions on setting up, managing, and using accounts.

Student Turnitin Accounts
Students create their own Turnitin account using their school Google email account and their school Google password. If a student already has set up an account and can not remember the credentials they used, they can select Forgotten your password in the login screen and program will help OR you can email LGary-Michel@marietta-city.k12.ga.us and she can tell you the credentials
