    An Apple For Your Teacher Contest - Nominate Your Favorite Teacher Superior Plumbing and the Marietta Daily Journal have teamed up to give local K-12 teachers working in kindergarten through 12th grade a chance to win an iPad during each week of the 2013-2014 school year. Parents and students can nominate a teacher online. The Marietta Daily Journal Staff will select a winner from the nominations received each week and will present that winner with an iPad. A photo of the teacher and the students will appear in the newspaper each week. This contest is open to any teacher whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the Marietta Daily Journal.

  • MHS Dance Ensemble To Perform - 2014 KSU Dance Festival, March 28 - 30

    The Marietta High School (MHS) Marietta Dance Ensemble (MDE), under the direction of Chiazor Nwabude, was recently selected to perform at the 2014 KSU Dance Festival held March 28-30, 2014. Performing groups submitted video of their work and were evaluated by a panel of national choreographers as part of the audition and selection process.
